The nearest railheads are Chandigarh and Kalka with regular train connections from Delhi. The drive from here on is approximately three hours. Alternatively there is a narrow gauge train from Kalka to Shimla.

The Delhi-Chandigarh highway (National Highway 1), covers approximately 250 km and then National Highway 22 continues onto Shimla and Mashobra. The journey takes approximately eight hours. There are several petrol stations and restaurants on the way.

There is an airport at Jubbar Hatti, Shimla, about an hour's drive from Mashobra, with regular Indian Airlines connections from Delhi.
