the company, is Mumbai's leading and most popular hotel. In 1981,
the hotel commissioned its REVOLVING RESTAURANT - 'THE TOP' now
known as the 'THE PEARL OF THE ORIENT' the only one of its kind in
Mumbai city. It has a seating capacity of 140 people and is famous
for its oriental cuisine. An additional 50 rooms were added to the
hotels existing capacity of 75 rooms in 1980-81. Thus totaling 130
