Sukhdham, a sandstone mansion was built by the
British in 1870. This heritage property was named as
Sukhdham in 1922 by late highness Umed Singhji
Bahadur. It used to be the official residence of the
agency surgon. In 1929, it became the residence of
Thakur Prithvi Singhji, general officer commanding,
the Kota State forces, who had earlier served with
the British Indian army. Now the descendants of col.
Thakur Prithvi Singhji are the there to welcome all
the travellers
